The Alumni Association of Rutgers School of Law-Newark honored U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Rosemary Gambardella (’79), Fisk University President Hazel O’Leary (’66) and Center for Constitutional Rights Executive Director Vincent Warren (’93) on Oct. 25 at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville. Gambardella and O’Leary received the Distinguished Alumna Award, and Warren the Fannie Bear Besser Award for Public Service.

Davis, Saperstein & Salomon in Teaneck donated $100,000 on Oct. 18 to the Columbia University Medical Center’s Hope and Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund. The money represented proceeds from a settlement the firm handled.
