A worker whose legs were burned in an explosion accepted $925,000 to settle his Morris County suit, Kolodziej v. TEC Installations Inc.

The accident occurred on April 9, 2010, at Conveyors by North American in Clifton, where employee Joseph Kolodziej, then 47, had helped load materials onto the truck of customer TEC Installations Inc. He was walking away from the loading area when leaking fumes from a cylinder of propylene gas on the truck, ignited by a nearby furnace, exploded in a ball of fire, says his lawyer, Peter Chamas, of Gill & Chamas in Woodbridge.
