Third-party defendant Lalitkumar Khandelwal, the husband of Swarnlata and the father of Shreya and Shruti, both minors, rented a car from Harvan Rentals Inc., d/b/a Budget Rent-A-Car of North Brunswick, for a family trip. The daily operations of the agency were contracted to MHL Rents, L.L.C., and Michael Lewis.
