Brokerage firm Knight Capital Group Inc. in Jersey Cityannounced on May 25 that it has paid $5 million to acquire financial service provider Penson Futures in Chicago, a division of Penson Financial Services Inc. in Dallas. Knight Capital was represented by Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, while Penson was represented by Steven Stone, Thomas Kellerman, Michael Philipp, Robert Mendelson, Harry Robins and Zaitun Poonja from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, both of New York City.
Systech Acquires Apostrophe
Systech International of Cranbury, a provider of packing technology services, announced on May 30 its acquisition of Cloud software company Apostrophe Systems of Philadelphia.
