Hundreds of ex-employees who claim Prudential Life Insurance conspired with a law firm to keep them from suing for discrimination have got a trial date — a year from now — and lawyers on both sides are locked into a breakneck discovery schedule.

At a case management conference on Tuesday, Bergen County Superior Court Judge Brian Martinotti set the June 6, 2011, trial date and other deadlines in Lederman v. Prudential Life Ins. Co. of America, BER-L-2251-10.
