The public will have a chance to see New Jersey’s Appellate Division judges in action starting Sept. 9, when the judiciary begins livestreaming the appeals court’s proceedings at njcourts.gov.

The judiciary will also begin posting Appellate Division and Supreme Court briefs online, with papers for each case available five days before the scheduled argument. The new initiatives are intended to allow the public to observe court proceedings and review vital court documents without having to travel to their local courthouse.
