Arianna Mouré, an attorney and secretary of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, has been named executive director of the New Jersey Puerto Rico Commission.

Her appointment, which is a full-time staff position with the commission, was announced by Gov. Phil Murphy and Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way. Mouré began her legal career as a law clerk for the Monmouth County Superior Court assignment judge and went on to work at several private law firms, where she served as outside counsel and corporate counsel to private entities and municipalities, according to a news release from the governor’s office. Most recently, Mouré worked for Scarinci Hollenbeck.
