A woman who had four operations on her back and shoulders after falling in a shopping center parking lot received payment of a $2.95 million settlement in her Monmouth County personal injury suit, Brown v. WLB of New Jersey LLC, on Dec. 1.

Tracey Brown of Long Branch was exiting the ShopRite store in West Long Branch with a cart full of groceries on May 22, 2017, when she encountered a pothole, causing her cart to topple over, said her attorney, James Maggs of Maggs, McDermott & DiCicco in Wall Township.
