Pashman Stein Names Practice Leaders

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack announced new practice chairs and co-chairs. The moves became effective Jan. 1.

Andrew Bayer was named chair of the firm's public entity law practice. His practice is devoted to municipal law, commercial, health care and employment defense litigation, and land use law with a focus on affordable housing development. He regularly appears before all levels of New Jersey state and federal courts, as well as the Office of Administrative Law. the firm said. Bayer has served as the township attorney and special counsel to numerous New Jersey municipalities and serves as special county counsel to Monmouth County. He has represented improvement and utility authorities in regulatory and litigation matters.

Bayer "has built an outstanding reputation representing municipalities and public entities throughout New Jersey," firm chair and managing partner Michael S. Stein said in a statement. "HIs experience representing municipalities and land use boards gives him the unique capability to counsel commercial real estate developers to obtain land use development approvals and guide clients through the municipal redevelopment approval process, providing additional value to firm clients."
