In a unpublished decision, the New Jersey Appellate Division stated that, after two years, it is time for the trial court to determine whether there is a genuine dispute over the propriety of exercising personal jurisdiction over the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the case of a man who alleged he was sexually abused by a now-deceased priest.

And if a genuine dispute remains, there should be no further delay in conducting the evidentiary hearing to resolve the dispute, the appellate panel concluded.
