Spouses deciding to divorce this year may already be prepared for the personal challenges that lie ahead. As clients seek our assistance in their divorce matters, however, it is important to recognize that most will be completely unaware of the turmoil facing the New Jersey family courts and how the challenges stemming from court backlogs and unfilled judicial vacancies could significantly impact their legal progress.
