Coffina to the firm as a partner in the litigation department, and white collar and government investigations practice. Veteran Prosecutor Heads to Mandelbaum

Stacey E. Zyriek Enriquez, a former assistant Union County prosecutor and special assistant U.S. attorney, joined Mandelbaum Barrett in Roseland as counsel in the white collar and criminal defense practice. Practice co-chair and partner Robert C. Scrivo noted in a statement that he worked closely with her for two years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and “witnessed firsthand her intellect, tremendous work ethic, and the respect she earned from her colleagues and the court alike.”  As an assistant prosecutor in Union County’ for the last decade, Enriquez was assigned to the Major Crimes, the Special Victims, the Trial, the Juvenile Justice, the Megan’s Law, and the Appellate units, where she tried more than 20 criminal cases to verdict, all while being responsible for up to 75 cases at any one time, the firm said. As a federal prosecutor, Enriquez handled complex cases, including wiretap investigations. Enriquez earned a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. “I am excited to bring my extensive experience in handling investigations and prosecutions to clients at Mandelbaum Barrett to help them navigate and defend against criminal charges and complex civil and regulatory matters,” she said in a statement.
