Marketing and advertising giant Omnicom Group appointed Brian Clayton as chief data privacy officer. He joins from New Jersey-based Conduent, a Xerox spinoff where he spent two decades as assistant general counsel, as well as chief compliance officer and chief privacy officer.

In addition to overseeing privacy for New York-based Omnicom, one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing firms, Clayton will be in charge of advising on regulatory compliance across the globe.
