Gibbons brought on Bisola A. Taiwo, previously assistant director/chief of staff for the city of Newark’s Department of Economic and Housing Development, as a partner in the real property group in Newark. While working for the city, she was promoted from the position of legislative director after only 18 months. Prior to working for the city, Taiwo was an associate at Chiesa, Shahinian & Giantomasi. Before that, she clerked for U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Appellate Division Judge Paulette M. Sapp-Peterson and Superior Court Judge Lisa P. Thornton. Taiwo earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Colgate University.
