Samsung Electronics was slapped with a consumer class action Monday in New Jersey District Court over the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 computer with 360-degree rotating touchscreen. The lawsuit, brought by Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman and Migliaccio & Rathod, contends that the device has defective display hinges which damage the screen when the display is moved. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:21-cv-19470, McCoy v. Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
