Glancy Prongay & Murray and Goodman, Hurwitz & James filed a securities class action Tuesday in New Jersey District Court against UBS Financial Services Inc. The complaint alleges that customers who acquired taxable securities in accounts managed by UBS on or after Jan. 1 2014 were subject to IRS tax overpayments when UBS failed to properly report the amount of premium bonds on customers 1099 forms. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:21-cv-18123, Richard Goodman, Individually And As Trustee of the Richard M. Goodman Revocable Living Trust v. UBS Financial Services Inc.
