A former county prosecutor and a former judge, who also are a married couple, have opened their own law firm. Christopher J. Gramiccioni was Monmouth County prosecutor for 10 years. Deborah L. Gramiccioni was a Superior Court Judge in Ocean County for five years. Together they opened Kingston Coventry LLC, with offices in Parsippany and Manasquan, on June 1. The firm aims to specialize in government and internal investigations, compliance and risk mitigation, white-collar criminal defense, national security and cyber practice, mediation and special master work, outside general counsel services, and crisis response and management, according to a statement. Between them both, the attorneys are admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Maryland and Washington, D.C., and pending in Georgia.

Christopher Gramiccioni began his legal career with the U.S. Navy, and he continues to serve as a commander in the Navy Reserve. While on active duty, he was assigned tours as a prosecutor, defense attorney, legal assistance advisor and appellate attorney. He has also provided at-sea legal services to military personnel attached to a number of vessel commands. He recently completed a tour as the executive officer of the Navy Reserve National Security Law Unit at the Pentagon, and currently serves as executive officer of the NR Naval War College (Law) in Newport, Rhode Island. He later served as a federal prosecutor at the United States attorneys office, district of New Jersey. He earned his J.D. in 1998 from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his B.S. from Towson University.
