The attorney sued by New Jersey company Cognizant Technology Solutions over his representation of its former chief legal officer has filed to dismiss a lawsuit brought against him and his practice by the company.

The suit filed by Cognizant, a Teaneck-based IT consultancy, stems from what Cognizant alleges were fraudulent billing practices, after the company was contractually obligated to pay New York lawyer Jeremy I. Bohrer for representing former Cognizant CLO Steven Schwartz in an investigation. It seeks $20 million in damages.
