Jeremy Klausner Law on Monday removed a defamation and civil rights lawsuit against MGM Resorts and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa to New Jersey District Court. The suit was filed by Frederic C. Goetz Esq. LLC on behalf of professional poker player Scott Robbins, who contends that a misunderstanding at the hotel led to him being banned from participating in the Borgata Poker Tournament for life. Robbins is claiming over $1.2 million in lost earnings from the ban. The case is 1:21-cv-13789, v. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa et al.
