A driver who underwent spinal surgery following a rear-end crash on the New Jersey Turnpike received $810,000 on March 18 to settle his Hudson County personal injury suit, Mattiasich v. Aguilar.

Robert Mattiasich of Islip Terrace, New York, was driving north on the turnpike in Kearny in a DHL Express USA van on Jan. 4, 2017, when he was struck from behind by a truck operated by Luis Aguilar and owned by JML Pro Trucks.
