New Jersey’s federal judicial drought could soon be over pending the pair of nominations announced earlier this week that were among President Joe Biden’s first slate of 11 nominees for federal judgeships.
Magistrate Judge Zahid Quraishi and Bergen County counsel and acting administrator Julien Neals were picked by Biden to fill two vacancies on the state’s U.S. District Court. They must now win confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
