Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer is absorbing Keefe Law Firm, a local litigation boutique, in an effort to offer clients a “premiere” plaintiffs practice and more alternative dispute resolution services, a specialty made ever more popular by current litigation backlogs due to pandemic-related court closures.

Effective Feb. 11, the team of six attorneys and seven legal support professionals from Keefe Law Firm joined Wilentz, bringing the firm’s attorney head count to more than 100 and expanding its footprint with a new office in Red Bank, according to Lisa Gorab, president and managing director. Meanwhile, firm leaders said Keefe Law Firm is in the process of being dissolved.
