Former Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr., charged with defrauding donors of a youth basketball team of nearly $87,000, was sentenced to 30 days in prison, 11 months of home detention and 200 hours of community service.
The sentence, following a guilty plea, was imposed by U.S. District Judge Joseph Rodriguez of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Thursday by videoconference.
