Spurr joined the corporate practice. She focuses on advising business owners on contracts, financing, employment matters, real estate and compliance. Prior to joining Bourne Noll, Spurr served as in-house counsel for five years at a multinational company, and previously was an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in New York. Spurr graduated from Fordham University School of Law, where she was an editor on the Law Review, and received her undergraduate degree from Boston University.

Mason Griffin Adds Employment Practice Leader

Zuckerman Joins Mason Griffin & Pierson in Princeton Elizabeth Zuckerman[Courtesy Photo.] Elizabeth Zuckerman has been named of counsel at  Mason, Griffin & Pierson in Princeton and will lead its employment law section. Zuckerman received her J.D. from the University of California at Davis School of Law, where she served as executive editor for the Law Review. In 1997, she cofounded the employment law firm of Zuckerman & Fisher, focusing her practice on employee rights. Zuckerman is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She will continue to practice in the areas of employment law, employee rights and appellate practice, the firm said. Zuckerman serves on the executive committee of the New Jersey chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association and is a member of the New Jersey State and American bar associations.

Laddey Clark Adds Injury Attorney, Morristown Office

Burakoff, a personal injury attorney based in Morristown, has joined Laddey Clark & Ryan’s personal injury practice group as of counsel. With the addition of Burakoff, Laddey Clark now has an office on the Green in Morristown. Burakoff has been representing accident victims in the state of New Jersey for more than 40 years, according to the firm’s announcement. He previously was co-counsel for Essex County, Union County, and 12 New Jersey municipalities in the mass tort litigation against the lead paint industry.  “I chose to affiliate with Laddey Clark & Ryan because I believe that we have similar approaches to practice,” Burakoff said in a statement. “We both put a premium on client service, professionalism and the relentless pursuit of our clients’ best interests.”  Andrew Fraser, co-leader of Laddey Clark’s personal injury practice group, said in a statement that Burakoff “exemplifies the outstanding qualities of our successful trial attorneys.” Managing partner Thomas N.
