Elyse Schindel<ep[Photo Credit: Gittings.] Elyse Schindel joined as an associate with the insurance defense practice, handling general liability and professional malpractice matters. She works “cross-practice” with other areas including cyber risk, privacy rights, employment law, management liability, government affairs, unfair competition, class actions, and commercial and transactional services, according to the release. She is admitted in New Jersey state and federal courts. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Schindel worked at Hobbie Corrigan & DeCarlo, PC .  She received her B.A. from Muhlenberg College in 2009 and her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in 2013. She handles a variety of professional malpractice actions, including defense of lawyers, accountants, medical professionals, directors and officers, and design professionals, the firm said. Murphy previously clerked for Somerset County Superior Court Judge Michael J. Rogers in the Family Part. She was offered an extension and then clerked for Superior Court Judge Rogers in the Civil Part. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University, receiving her B.A. in political science in 2013, and received her J.D. from the Western New England University School of Law in 2017.  She is admitted in New Jersey. She  defends members of the health-care profession, including those engaged in obstetrics, orthopedics, oncology, anesthesia, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgery. In 2014, she received her B.A. in psychology from George Washington University, and received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2018.  Prior to joining Wilson Elser, McDonald served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Lisa F. Chrystal , presiding judge for the Family Part, Chancery Division of New Jersey.  She is admitted in New Jersey and New York.
