Newark-based McCarter & English has launched a pro bono program intended to benefit the city’s many unrepresented litigants, to be headed by a full-time firm lawyer.
The fellowship’s focus is expected to shift from issue to issue over time, but the initial aim will be representing tenants in housing court, specifically in eviction matters.
