Archer Law in Haddonfield launched its summer associate program May 29 with the largest group of law students ever to participate in the annual program, the majority of whom are women. The class includes nine students from several schools. The nine-week program provides opportunities to work with attorneys, staff and clients, as well as the opportunity to socialize with many of the firm’s lawyers, professionals and staff. It aims to help them discover what practice areas they enjoy most, and what aligns best with their strengths and interests. Each summer associate gets paired with a full-time associate who serves as a mentor, advising on research techniques, case preparation and other legal matters. The law students also accompany and observe Archer attorneys at proceedings such as real estate closings, mediations, depositions, hearings, trials and client meetings. The summer associates are:

Adetola Ajayi resides in Willingboro and has completed her second year at Temple University Beasley School of Law. She received her B.A. in philosophy from Villanova.  Last summer she interned at Allstate Insurance Co. as a legal intern.
