The state’s high court has extended the suspensions of two judges whose legal troubles have made headlines in recent weeks: a Rochester judge convicted of driving while intoxicated, and a Suffolk County judge arrested after he was caught allegedly stealing a woman’s panties.

Rochester City Judge Leticia Astacio, who was elected to a 10-year term in 2014, was suspended from the bench last month after she was arrested for allegedly attempting to make an illegal firearms purchase, which was a violation of the terms of her probation.
