On Dec. 11, the New York County Lawyers Association held its 103rd annual dinner, this year celebrating the theme of Outstanding Women in the Legal Profession. Fifty-four outstanding women lawyers, many of them pictured above, were honored at the Grand Hyatt New York in Manhattan.
The gala featured the presentation of the 2017 William Nelson Cromwell Award to two honorees: New York State Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, bottom center, and Colleen McMahon, the chief judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, to the right of Judge DiFiore.
In addition, the 2017 Boris Kostelanetz President’s Medal was awarded to Eugene Souther, a senior counsel at Seward & Kissel and a previous president of NYCLA. The event was chaired by Robert Haig, a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren.
