  • William Candelaria has joined DLA Piper’s finance practice as a partner. He was formerly at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle.
  • Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has added Stephen Amdur as partner. He comes to the firm from Latham & Watkins.
  • Cassin & Cassin has promoted Scott D. Schwartz to partner. He joined the firm as an associate in 2011.
  • Cozen O’Connor has added Katie Schwab, Rose Christ and Reggie Thomas to it’s New York City government relations group. The team joins the firm from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
  • Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has elected associates Matthew Benjamin (litigation, white collar), Kate Dominguez (litigation, IP) and Laura Kathryn O’Boyle (litigation, securities) as partners, effective Jan. 1.
  • David W. Smith has joined the corporate trust group of Pryor Cashman as counsel. He was previously with The Bank of New York Mellon.
  • Perkins Coie has announced that Adam H. Schuman has joined the firm’s white collar & investigations practice group as a partner. He joins from the New York State Executive Chamber, where he served as special counsel for public integrity for Governor Andrew Cuomo.
  • Michael J. Heller has joined Rivkin Radler as a partner in the firm’s banking, corporate and real estate practice groups. He was most recently a partner at Lamb & Barnosky.
  • Mark R. Damiano II has joined Certilman Balin as an associate in the firm’s corporate/securities practice group. Prior to joining, he was an associate in the construction practice croup at Meltzer Lippe Goldstein & Breitstone.
