Broadway 26 Waterview LLC, an affiliate of the Chetrit Group, purchased 26 Broadway, a 31-story office tower in the financial district. The closing price on the property, built by John D. Rockefeller in 1924 and commonly known as the Standard Oil Building, was $225 million. Also, the Childrenswear Building, at 127-135 West 33rd Street, was sold for $43 million to a joint venture between The City Investment Fund and Savanna Investment Management.
