His four-decade judicial career, of course, has overshadowed a brief, two-year stint as county attorney of Nassau County from 1963 to 1965. But any student of local government - and of tax certiorari and condemnation law - will do well to analyze the judge's devotion to justice and procedural fairness as it affects these fields.
