FORMER JUSTICE Victor I. Barron pleaded guilty yesterday to a felony charge of bribe taking and will receive a sentence of 3 to 9 years in prison.
The key to the prosecution’s acceptance of the plea deal, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes made clear yesterday, was that Mr. Barron had no information to offer with regard to a broader pattern of corruption in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
