MINEOLA – The former CEO of Jamaica Savings Bank who became a director on the board of North Fork Bank after the two institutions merged has failed to convince a judge that he was unlawfully ousted from the board when he turned 70.

State Supreme Court Justice Leonard B. Austin threw out a complaint brought by Park T. Adikes, the former chairman, chief executive officer and major shareholder of Jamaica Savings Bank, that alleged fraud and breach of contract against North Fork Bancorporation.
