MAYOR Michael Bloomberg and the executive committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Court took steps yesterday to avoid a major conflict over the re-appointment of Family Court Judge Myrna M. Martinez-Perez, who has been sitting in a juvenile delinquency part in the Bronx.
As a result of those moves, Judge Martinez-Perez was appointed to a seven-month term as an interim Civil Court judge rather than a full 10-year term as a Family Court judge.
