ACCESS TO THE COURTS is a fundamental right that should be afforded every citizen, regardless of his or her financial standing in society. As a civilized society, we should make every effort to ensure that access to our courts and civil justice system is preserved.

The legal profession has come under constant attack from the media and the business community. Some citizens have been brainwashed into believing that lawyers are their enemies and they can do better without one.
