THE OFFICE of Court Administration yesterday unveiled a new security system for attorneys in an effort to reduce the long lines that have become commonplace at state courthouses since Sept. 11.
Starting April 22, attorneys can apply for a “Secure Pass” card that will allow them to enter courts without having to pass through metal detectors. OCA will run background checks on applicants, as it now does with court employees and law enforcement personnel.
