RIVERHEAD – In a rare outcome for a scaffold law case, a Suffolk County jury has found the owners of a Lloyd Harbor house were fully liable for a construction worker’s injuries and not eligible for the usual exception under the law for homeowners.
Following last month’s verdict, homeowners Steven and Donna Rossetti settled Rothman v. Shaljian, 97-26639, for $142,000, according to the plaintiff’s attorney.
