Pursuant to SCPA Article 17-A (17/1428/A) — This is a proceeding pursuant to Article 17-A of the Surrogate’s Court Procedure Act to amend the decree dated December 6, 2017 to include the additional appointment of the petitioner as guardian of the property of the respondent, a developmentally disabled person.Upon the documentary proof submitted it appears the petitioner is qualified to assume the additional responsibility of serving as the respondent’s property guardian.Accordingly, the application is granted, and this decision constitutes the order of the court amending the decree dated December 6, 2017 to reflect that the petitioner shall serve as the guardian of the person and property of the respondent.The Chief Clerk is to mail a copy of this decision and the amended decree to the pro se petitioner.Decree signed.May 8, 2018
