Practice Profile: Faiza Rahman practices in Weil’s capital markets group, advising issuers, private equity sponsors and underwriters on an array of sophisticated transactions, including major IPOs, investment grade and high yield debt offerings and tender and exchange offers.
Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Faiza is a committed pro bono advocate and is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee. She has worked—in conjunction with the Asian American Legal Defense & Education Fund and Muslim Advocates—on a firm pro bono matter in which she helped employ the New York State Freedom of Information Law to procure information on unlawful surveillance practices by the “demographics unit” of the NYPD.
