Henry Lebowitz has joined Debevoise & Plimpton as a partner and member of the firm’s corporate intellectual property group. He was formerly a partner at Fried Frank, where he headed that firm’s technology transactions practice.

White and Williams has hired Heidi Sorvino as a partner in the firm’s business department. She joins from LeClair Ryan where she was also a partner.

Day Pitney has announced that tax attorney Von Sanborn has joined the firm as a partner in the corporate and business law department. He was previously at Withers Bergman. The firm also announced that David Waizer has rejoined the company as a partner in the firm’s private equity and venture capital practice. Most recently, Waizer served as senior managing director and general counsel of Rein Capital.

Katten Muchin Rosenman has announced that five public finance attorneys have joined the firm—James Normile, William Dudine and Patricia Mollica have joined as partners, and Alexander Deland and Catriona Morgan have joined as special counsel. All were previously at Winston & Strawn.
