Democratic delegates in Brooklyn have approved a slate of six judicial candidates for state Supreme Court to appear on the November ballot that did not include Justice Laura Jacobson, who is locked in a legal battle with the party.

The delegates voted unanimously Thursday at a convention held at St. Francis College to place the candidates on the ballot. There was no motion to nominate Jacobson, who has been on the bench for 25 years and who also serves as an acting surrogate in Brooklyn, despite her efforts to drum up support for her among party members.
