A federal judge said two firms, which successfully argued a woman’s employment retaliation suit, are entitled to roughly half the $785,600 they sought in fees in the case.

Western District Judge Elizabeth Wolford said in Costa v. Sears Home Improvement Products, 6:12-cv-6235, that attorneys led by Anthony LaDuca of the LaDuca Law Firm in Rochester and Kevin Mulvehill of Phillips Lytle in Rochester should get $406,163 in lawyer fees, plus $20,174 in costs.
