Residents of Hoosick Falls, where groundwater supplies were recently found to contain perfluorooctanoic acid, or PFOA, have begun to file suits alleging injuries from the contamination.

A federal action filed Wednesday in the Northern District, Donavan v. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, 1:16-cv-00924, alleged that Saint-Gobain and Honeywell International Inc. were responsible for pollution that was only recently discovered in water in Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County.
