An appeals court has thrown out a defendant’s drug and gun convictions, saying the arresting officer’s actions “cast doubt” on his credibility.
Appellate Division, Second Department, Justices Cheryl Chambers, L. Priscilla Hall, Colleen Duffy and Betsy Barros ruled Wednesday that the verdict from Queens Supreme Court be reversed and the indictment dismissed in People v. Shuaib Oneill, 369-07.
