Eleanor Alter, a sought-after divorce attorney representing celebrities and law firm partners alike, has left Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman with five other attorneys to form a family law boutique.

The six-attorney firm, Alter Wolff & Foley, was established last week. It is composed of four partners—Alter, Adam Wolff, Jenifer Foley and Alan Feigenbaum—and two associates, Julie Sheldon and Melissa Rossman. All six previously practiced at Kasowitz Benson’s matrimonial practice.
