The state’s Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) has named Seth Agata, former acting counsel to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, as its new executive director.
The post has been vacant for about eight months since Letizia Tagliafierro left to become deputy commissioner of the criminal investigations division of the state Department of Taxation and Finance (NYLJ, July 23, 2015).
