A Long Island attorney was charged Tuesday with stealing nearly $200,000 in settlement funds from four clients.
Steven Morelli, of the Law Office of Steven A. Morelli in Garden City, is accused of taking money from firm accounts that held settlement funds for his personal use. Morelli, 59, is charged with second-degree grand larceny and three counts of third-degree grand larceny, all felonies.
