Peter Galasso, a Long Island attorney who fought his two-year suspension in a closely-watched case, was reinstated Wednesday by the Appellate Division, Second Department.

In suspending Galasso, of Galasso, Langione, Catterson & LoFrumento in Garden City, the court found he failed to show “appropriate vigilance over his firm’s bank account” after the bookkeeper, who was Galasso’s brother, embezzled the funds (NYLJ, Feb. 27, 2012).
