A Kaye Scholer corporate partner, Evan Greebel, was indicted Thursday along with Martin Shkreli, a former hedge fund manager who ran the pharmaceutical company Retrophin, for their role in what federal prosecutors described as a Ponzi scheme.

A seven-count indictment charged Shkreli with conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud. Arnold & Porter partners Baruch Weiss and Marcus Asner represent Shkreli.
